Bank Street is a popular town beach in Harwich. The warm waters of Nantucket Sound are great for swimming. Watch for the many sail and motor boats from of nearby Wychmere harbor that cruise the area. Medium parking. No attendant. A good-sized beach that is popular and often crowded. Private beaches on either side. Lots of shells. Some seagulls. Small waves.
Down the street from Wychmere Harbor is Bank Street Beach is a great place to watch the many boats riding in and out of Nantucket Sound. This good-sized beach is quite popular with Harwich residents, probably for its space, sun and soft sand. There's also seagulls and shells galore.
