Narrow, long beach. Fair amount of room. Popular. Families with older kids. Rock jetties. Pretty calm water. Short, steep slope to beach. Stairs. Nice view. Large parking. Attendant on duty. Clean sand. Bike rack. Playground. Gazebo.
Though not as close to the river as one might think, Parkers River Beach shouldn't be ignored for being a little misleading. A good, long beach, Parkers River has plenty of room for all sorts of families. It does get slightly crowded, which is understandable because of its great view, rock jetties and a nearby playground and gazebo.
Tips:
A few stairs lead down to the beach. They are somewhat accessible, but keep them in mind if you are with someone who has trouble with stairs.
