Another Cape Cod National Seashore gem, this mile-long beach is among the most popular on the Outer Cape. Great surfing around and views down the beach of the dunes and water are breathtaking. A wooden stairway descends to the sands from the parking lot. Great spot for families, ideal for swimming, surfing, and body surfing. Lifeguards. Nauset Light Beach has a large lookout area in the parking lot, ideal for viewing in the scenery and taking photographs.

One of the most popular beaches on Cape Cod, Nauset Light is a part of the National Seashore and is located in Eastham. Backed by massive dunes, this beach is quite large, but smaller compared to other seashore beaches. It has large waves great for surfing and boogie boarding. Historic and enchanting Nauset Lighthouse is located just inland from the beach. Big beach, lots of room. Some good waves. A lot of families with older kids and teens. Steep stairs down to beach. Clean sand. Beautiful view

The parking lot tends to fill by 10 a.m. daily during the summer season with minimal turnover. Drop off and pick up of visitors and/or equipment is prohibited.
