Long beach. Lots of room. Not crowded. Windy. Rock jetties. Birds. Sticker office on premises. Small waves. Nice sand. A little dirty. Large parking lot. No walk. Attendant on duty. Bike rack.

Along Vineyard Sound, Surf Drive Beach is the closest beach to Falmouth Center. Located just south of the center, the beach is popular for its location. Surf Drive Beach is long with a fair amount of space. Rock jetties, calm waves and views of Martha's Vineyard across the sound and Nobska Light nearby make this a very picturesque spot. A small inlet to the north of the beach is popular with families who have little kids.

Ellen T. Mitchell Bathhouse, the Falmouth beach sticker office, is located just off the beach.
