Long boardwalk extends over salt marsh partway to beach. Excellent view of plant, marine life. Across the river is Dennis' Chapin Beach. Rather small. Picnic area. Not crowded. Large parking area. Some free parking. Lifeguards. Good for little kids. Dirty sand. Bugs. Boardwalk only partway to beach.

The north side of Yarmouth on Cape Cod Bay is only about 1 1/2 miles long and is largely marshland, save for a small beach at Bass Hole (also known as Grays Beach) on the east end. Bass Hole is at the mouth of Garden Creek, features lots of greenery and has a long boardwalk that extends over the salt marsh and offers an excellent view of coastal plant and marine life.
