Big, long beach. Plenty of room. Nice sand. A few stairs to beach. Nice view. Small rock jetties. Large parking lot. Attendant on duty. Parking lot closes at 9 p.m.
Falmouth Heights Beach is an often-crowded arc of sand on Nantucket Sound, backed by a row of inns and B&Bs. Perfect for a game of volleyball or ultimate Frisbee, Falmouth Heights is a popular beach with lots of room for fun and games. The soft sand and calm waves make for a relaxing day if you're not up for all the physical activity. An open view of the ocean is very picturesque. There's a small strip of metered parking on Grand Avenue between Walden Avenue and Crescent Park Avenue.
Tips:
If you are looking for a place to stay, there's a plethora of inns and B&Bs all around this beach.
