Cape Cod National Seashore
Head of the Meadow Beach in North Truro, part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, is often less crowded than other beaches in the area. The bathhouse burned down, so it has only temporary restroom facilities available in summer and no showers. Parking rarely fills. Gorgeous view with no boats. Lots of beach to water. More waves noticeable. Not handicapped accessible, high dune to reach beach.
Head of the Meadow Beach is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, but is shared with the town of Truro. One of the less popular seashore beaches, Head of the Meadow is large with a gorgeous view.
Quiet and soothing with calming waves, this beach is perfect for a day of relaxation.
There are two parking lots for Head of the Meadow Beach, one for Truro residents only and the other run by the National Seashore and open to the public. At the end of Head of the Meadow Road, it splits in two for the two parking lots.
