Indian Neck Beach is large, sandy beach on the Cape Cod Bay side of the town, fronting Wellfleet Harbor. Low tide reveals tidal pools for children to explore, but high tide is much more convenient for those wishing to swim. Low tide reveals plenty of beach but less water - you'll walk way out before your hips get wet. It's a good spot to watch the comings and goings of fishing boats from Wellfleet Pier. It's a great beach for families with children: shallow and calm waters, plenty of treasure hunting between the tide pools and seashells.
