Small beach. Nice. Plenty of room. Families and older couples. Stairs down to beach. Roped-off swimming area. Nice view. Not crowded. Medium-sized parking lot. No attendant. Short walk. Bike rack. Playground.
One of the few pond beaches in Dennis, Princess Beach provides an intimate atmosphere that the other Dennis beaches can't. It is a small beach with a great view of the lush surroundings. A roped-off swim area and lifeguards create a safe environment for young children to play, and a playground gives them more options for fun.
Tips:
There's a stairway leading down to the beach, so if you have problems with steps, this may not be the beach for you. Right down the road is famed Scargo Tower. Check it out for a gorgeous view of Scargo Lake.
