Steep stairs down to beach. Small beach - not much sand. Crowded. Older kids generally. Dirty sand. Tiny waves - fairly calm. Boats. No attendant. Small parking lot. Private beaches around. Limited disabled access.
Small and surrounded by private residences, Thumpertown Beach can get easily crowded. Whether or not you manage to stake out a spot on the sand, there is plenty of ocean in which to bounce about.
Tips:
A steep stairway leads down to the beach. If you're not good with stairs, this may not be the beach for you.
