If salt water isn't to your taste, a lovely freshwater pond might be just what you're looking for. Wiley Park on the shores of Great Pond is a great place to start. Its narrow strip of sand offers both sunny and shady spots, and lush green surroundings make it very picturesque. Kids will have a great time jumping into the refreshing water off a large platform. If that's not enough, there's a playground for the kids, too.
