Long, narrow beach. Not too much room. Pebbly sand. Lots of shells and rocks. Not crowded. Families. Large parking. Attendant on duty. No boardwalk. Bike rack.

Wood Neck Beach, in the Sippewisset area on the western shore of Falmouth, is a sandy bay-side beach backed by grass-covered dunes. At high tide the beach is very narrow, but sandbars and shallow tide pools make this a good place for children when the tide is out.

Tips:

With lots of rocks and shells, Wood Neck isn't the best place to lay out on a beach towel, but it can be a good place for windsurfing or a quick dip.
