Disregard the negative reviews, best burger in Hyannis
Don't know what these others were smoking but Barbyanne's is great! Prices aren't quite as affordable as they used to be but absolute best burger in Hyannis (Bubba's western BBQ burger). Ask for the steak fries with a side of honey mustard dressing for dipping, delish!

I have never had a bad meal at Barbyann's. The chowder is simply the best on the Cape; the burgers to die for; never had to send anything back for improper cooking.... it's just the best restaurant around.

I have given up eating out for the most part, except at Barbyannes. The food is always fantastic...the wait staff are very friendly and not overbearing and I love the atmosphere. I have been going there since it used to be on Rt 28 in the early 80's and I have never had a bad meal. It is a staple on Cape Cod in every season!

We went the other night, our waitress was drunk!! It was soooo obvious I was embarassed for her. I will never go back and the food was just ok, for an establishment to allow employees to show up to work intoxicated is HORRIBLE! I plan to tell all of my friends and family not to support it.

My family has been going to Barbyann's for years. The chowder is the best and my favorite is the swordfish tips. We were there Saturday night and had excellent food and a great waitress named Claudia.

My boyfriend took me out to Barbyanne's the other night. He had the Prime Rib and I had Seafood San Fransisco. It was the best meal I've had out in a long time and it was affordable too! Our Waitress was great her name was Judy she was so friendly and attentive! They have a pub area if your in that mood or they have a nice dining area as well. I'd go back in a heart beat!

Being in rest. business myself on cape,I know good food. Barbyann's is where I go on my day off, food is always awsome, staff very on their game.For someone to write in and say one of Bubba's staff was drunk is unreal, someone is a very unhappy person to make such a call , I know Bubba and most of his girl's and that just would'nt be.His girls are some of the best on Cape, if I was to open my own rest. someday Im afraid to say I would like to steal most of them away.

The Best
I love this restaurant. Even though it is a bit hard to find, it is so worth it. The portions are generous, the food is excellent quality and cooked to order. Nothing frozen or mass produced like chain restaurants. We have been eating at Barbyann's for over twenty years, and some of the wait and bar staff have been there that long! To me, it shows that the owner(s) must really care for their employees. The hostesses are young and enthusiastic. If you haven't been for a while, check it out!

I have been going to Barbyanne's for over 15 years and it is always a guaranteed good meal. The lobster bisque is awesome and the burgers are char-grilled to perfection. Service is always prompt and friendly and they don't charge for soda refills. Thanks Bubba!!

Love this restaurant. Been going there since it was over by the Airport Road and had room for about thirty people. Food has always been consistent and priced reasonably. Best bet is to sit at the bar. Great service and personal attention.

Salad was rotten one steak burned one steak raw and rotten soup was old do not eat here paid 60$ for one bite me or my girlfriend ate any of this trash I asked server if he would eat it he just looked at it and left did not care

Best burger in Hyannis! Reasonably price and delicious! Lobster Bisque is out of this world, and always consistent. The atmosphere could use a little help, along with the bathrooms, but the burger is sooooooo worth it!

I love this restaurant, its one of the only ones my husband and I can ever agree on. The food is excellent (especially the seafood stew - to die for!) and the service is always consistent. The only thing I would recommend is a renovation....the atmosphere hasn't been updated in years and years. The food is what keeps you coming back!

worst meal,service ever
went to Barbyann's because had been there before (had not been in a few yrs) with my grandparents(my Grandmother loved this restaurant)On my visit (Feb 14) we wited 20 mins.even though we where booked for 6:30 the waitress was slow and complained about having to walk upstairs and how tired she was, never gave her name. my bake scrod was under cooked,the waitress was told and just looked at it and said"oh"must I say more.

Not The Old Barby Anne's
Went with co-workers on our monthly dinner out in January.It wasn't the Barby Anne's of a year ago. Waitress was the worst! Our dinner's were either undercooked or overcooked. Waitress wasn't the least bit interested in our complaints. Will not be going back again.Barby Anne's has also always been a family favorite but they have lost both the business of my coworkers and I but also my family
