Regatta of Cotuit
Fine Dining on a Weekend
This was our first time dining here and we were extremely pleased. Started with cocktails........these guys make it any way YOU like it, full of flavor and all top shelf liquors. Appys were great...baked oysters perfectly done with a champagne mignonette. I had the Crostini with fire roasted peppers and shiitake mushrooms. Entrees were equally great....my wife had the veal chop done medium rare with a madiera demi and I had the seafood trilogy with poached lobster, shrimp, and the most marvelous cod. I'd like a plate of just the cod, it was that good. Fresh bread is made daily along with the home made pastries. I have always been a 28 Atlantic guy when I want the best on the Cape, but I must say, this comes real close to their level of product.
Cons: Service dropped off as the room filled.....but still adequate.
Pros: Good drinks, food has great balance, service is great
